Google Fi is offering their 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G Smartphone on sale for $499 (or $20.83/month) when you purchase, activate and bring/transfer your number to Fi from your current carrier to be eligible valid for New Google Fi Customers only. Thanks CoralMint160
Note, a new Fi customer is somebody who is new to Google Fi on either a new plan or a new member as a part of an existing group plan.

1. Does signing up for fi plan requires credit check?
2. I don't have spare phone number, what is the best way to get new number (safely to qualify for $500 credit) in short term to capitalized on Note20 deal?

2. Google voice is the fastest. Get a number, then pay $3 to unlock. Not the cheapest method but it is dependable, works every time and no waiting. Next might be going to local store for a sim card. Third, ebay.
but spend $200 more and get Note 20 Ultra. It's the real deal​

I mean, maybe? I've been on the same 3GB card for data since May through a tracfone account, and still have just under 1GB left. I'm cheap, though, so I'm careful with data. With a referral link and a Note 8 to trade in, I'll be getting the Note 20 for $190 plus tax, all in, with no bill credits or lock in. And I'll likely activate the sim and then not use it, swapping my current card back in until the data runs out, so no extra data fees.
