Note, a new Fi customer is somebody who is new to Google Fi on either a new plan or a new member as a part of an existing group plan.

TO qualify for the $500 discount:
  • Activate the Samsung Note20 on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days.
  • You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.

Why? The terms merely ask you to have the device in-service (from a billing perspective. You don't actually need to have the SIM inserted). I've bought 4 devices from Fi in the past, and always did that. This time around, I added a group plan user for this new user promo.

Why the total ends up at $599 instead of $499? Or it is only with me?

Also, how to pay with PayPal? It gives me only credit card option. Im logged in into my Google account, but didnt have a Fi account before

yes the screen is free of scratches and cracks. I hope they only concerned about screen. not the back cover glass.

Thats incorrect. Data billing is prorated. It's charged at the rate of $0.01/MB. At start of service, you will have choose how much data u plan to use. You can go with minimum requirement of 1GB , so initially you will be billed for $30( $20 for voice/text + $10 for 1GB/month). Subsequently, depending on data usage, you could receive credit in next bill if you didn't use all 1GB of data as planned. So, for ex. for 1st month, you only used 50MB, then your second month bill would $30 - $9.50(data credit from previous month). Please note, i have not included taxes for simplicity.
