I have the Alex Jones version of this, when I turn it on it just yells conspiracy theories at me.
I have the andrew jones center, LR floorstandings, and LR rear bookshelves for my surround setup in a very large theater room. They sound excellent. There are definitely better but bang for buck is amazing.
It's been said before and I agree that they have to be a certain volume to sound good. At very low volume on your receiver they are a bit muffled. At medium to high volume I have zero complaints.

I want a center channel, have done for a while now, is this it chief?
I have this and a pair of bookshelves in a 5.1.4 set up. Love it! Depends on your desires, I think. Does "it sounds good" mean how loud can it go before crackling? I can't comment on that, but they can get louder than my preference without issue. If it is subtle detail in movies and clear dialogue, then totally worth it. I wish instead of a set of Polk bookshelves that I got a pair of floor standing. Reason for the Polks is they are front vented so they can be snug to the back of a shelf. Plans changed so that won't be their long term spot. Still all sounds amazing.

As many have repeated before.... these speakers are great value for money. I've got three separate set ups with them (all AJ speakers): 5.2.2 in the theater room, 3.1 in the den, and 2.0 in the garage. As you can tell, I'm a fan. Only knock is that they're a little uglier than competitors (especially the Jamos), but that's a matter of personal taste. These have also been significantly cheaper in the past, but I doubt we'll see those prices again (thanks Fry's).

I think Fry's clearanced them. I haven't seen their sales for them in a long time.
Have the full set of these and been generally happy with it. Just make sure to go into hidden settings of your receiver to set it to proper ohm setting. I did however replace the center. It is the weakest component of the set imho and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to lift the dialog enough for my liking.

So I've purchased 2 or 3 sets of these, along with a bunch of the matching bookshelfs as the deals appear, and now some of their Atmos add ons (which I still haven't opened up 6 months later).
I don't doubt there are better. But if you go for this deal and pick up matching bookshelfs at the same price per pair, it's a lot of bang for the buck - better than a soundbar if you have a decent AV receiver.

Decent center channel. It's fairly large. You need a good EQ to really make it come alive.

I always meant to try the "Dennis Murphy" mods for these (https://www.diyaudio.co
