But I think the biggest thing I wasnt expecting from the Eufy cams is the encrypted sd card. On the wyze, I could just pop out the sd card and copy the videos onto my pc. On the Eufy, it is not allowed. You have to download the videos from your phone and then connect the phone to your pc. You can only download the captured videos too and only in the increments that are recorded if the camera picks up the movements - even in continuous recording mode. Very time consuming and cumbersome. FYI.

My Eufy 2k cams can connect via RTSP to external NAS stuff. I have not tried pulling down video from the SD card, but it makes sense from a privacy perspective in case someone snatches the SD, they can't see the data on it. Only you can.
These Eufy wired pan/til 2K cameras have absolutely the best daytime and even nighttime picture quality of all of my other cameras by far.

It was the same 2K that was on sale for $35, I bought 2. Should have gotten more, it was the lowest price ever!

Yeah, I'm using this outdoor, under a porch, picture quality is really clear, even better than the 2K eufy doorbell that I have, which costs like 4x this price.

I can share my use case with you. I have it pointed on my loft to where we have several desks. At one of those desks is where my 1st grader does distance learning. I am sometimes at my desk in the garage so I can take calls etc. Using this camera I can visually check-in and make sure my kiddo is at the desk and working on the computer. If she isn't at her desk, I can pan over and see where she is hiding.
For example, only when you pay $30/yr on ring indoor camera can I go back to motion detected, say 5 hours ago, and see what caused that motion. So the Ring camera is useless to view happenings overnight without the plan.
