Got one of these tripods from eBay for $5 like a week ago. One of the legs fell off pretty easily, but it went back on for the most part. You can find them on AliExpress for a couple of bucks. Didn't buy the remote control thing, and this one looks a little longer than mine.

Good for hanging a phone from a truck's A-pillar grab handle, or from a rear view mirror for navigation, hands-free FaceTime, or dashcam-ing

Does it work with GoPro ? Off topic, but I find the tripod made by GoPro a bit expensive and couldn't get a decent tripod within sub $20 range.
