1) Yes, I had an old locked T-Mobile phone that hasn't been used for months and unlocked it 30 mins before going to Costco. The phone doesn't show up on the T-Mobile accounts page since I have other phones that I actively use.
2) Don't know, but probably with a valid IMEI.
BYOD requires unlocked phone? What if it's locked to Tmobile but paid off completely a long time ago? Thanks.
Yeah, i know it's confusing but with a new line, you get a new number. The port-in number will replace the new number. Once the new number is replaced, the rebate promo checkers can only see the port-in number since the new number is replaced and gone forever. If you submit the rebate using the new number that is replaced by the port-in number, they can't verify your new line. This only applies if you port in a number.
Confusing. Just to verify; Get New Line (Line A) at Costco. Port Number from say ATT (Line B) to replace Line A. I've never used Costco for the rebate, but I'm assuming I fill something out and put Line B as the "New Number." Correct understanding?

Then how to stack $200 Costco rebates and Tmobile $100 port in rebate? I heard that it worked in the past deals. Use original new number when submit Costco's rebate same day as opening the line. Then next day, port in the new number, then submit Tmobile's rebate using the ported number when fill out rebate? Will this work? Thanks.
I did 4x of the $250 BYOD in Sept I think, and that got me thirsty for deals like this. I've seen posted here that it won't work if you have canceled/ported out lines w/in 90 days, but where is that in the fine print for this deal? The image in OP doesn't say it. I will do this tomorrow if I'm not disqualified, ideally:
1. Possibly get first (free?) line with a Pixel 4a and $100 T-Mobile port - not clear if this is possible
2. 3x additional lines with $100 T-Mobile port in + $200 Costco GC
Could be a great deal if it works, but looking for clarification on whether I have to sit this one out due to porting out lines a month ago.
I assume for the Costco rebate wait to submit until after the port in number takes effect via t-mobile then submit both with same port in number.
The original new line/number created at Costco won't exist once port in happens and will be replaced so if you use that on Costco rebate may get denied

Help with my T mobile Family one plan (activated before 2018)
What I have: 3 paid lines + 1 free line (3 paid lines have kick-back, $10 each < 2 GB data usage)
Can I double dip into the Thanksgiving T-mo offers.
1. With my Costso membership, can I add new line (tomorrow 11/25 promo start date), Get $200 Costco shop card in the future?
2. Double dip into the T-mo offer [Get a FREE Google Pixel 4a 5G when adding a new line (from step #1) AND trading in an eligible old smartphone] - I have a trade in eligble device with me.
3. Not on top of my priority list - I do have a eligble Eligible SOC codes - As an existing T-Mobile Family One plan customer: Free Line returns 11/25, plus port-ins to get $100 rebate. ---- Is there a pathway to get T-mo $100 rebate (for a temp sim-number swiped up from ebay)?
Thoughts,on how best to sequence these
Practical to just get #1 ?
Practical to stack up #1 & #2 ?
Practical to stack up #1 & #2 & #3 ?
You will lose your kickback promo if you add a line. Everytime you add a line / cancel a line Tmobile takes you out of a grandfathered plan and puts you on the latest plan. Happened to me.

I stopped by Costco kiosk today (the day before the free line). Somehow , they wanted to the IMEI for the phone which i am trying to BYOD. Will the rebate be invalidated if i don't use that phone/IMEI vs the BYOD line ? I don't have a spare IMEI since all the phones are currently on Tmobile lines. ok to use an existing IMEI and still get the rebate ?

yeah, how do we do the submissions for both the Costco and Tmobile rebate?
Get an unlocked phone (I got an old one phone that is not actively used/shown on the T-Mobile accounts page) and add a line at Costco. The Costco rep will give you a print out of a rebate instructions with the rebate #, IMEI of the phone, and the new phone number. I attached a photo of the print out.
Go home and port in a number. Submit rebate online for T-Mobile's $100 and Costco $200 using the port-in number within the 30 day deadline.
Kind of unclear. Need to wait tomorrow to see T-Mobile's offer detail.
Are these the correct steps?
1. Open a new line at Costco and get the $200 rebate form. (Not telling them it is for T-Mobile free line)
2. Buy a ATT number and call T-Mobile to tell them on that added line I need to port in a number and paticipate on that Free Line Promotion. Have them to adjust it.
3. Submit both forms.
Not sure if I should bring the ATT number to Costco since changing the number later might void Costco's rebate.

I don't completely understand your question. I am not sure if an unlocked phone that is currently being used on an existing T-Mobile line is ok for the BYOD promo. I had to physically bring my spare unlocked phone to show the rep the IMEI number.

Correct except you should tell Costco that you're adding a free line because for my account, Costco's system couldn't add a free line due to an incorrect "Flexpay" (meaning pre-paid account) error; I have a post-paid account. The rep didn't know what to do and after searching Reddit, I called T-Mobile's retail support line at 888-310-8369 for the rep to tell a T-Mobile rep to add a free line. Don't the T-Mobile rep that you're going to port in and apply for the T-Mobile $100 rebate later though!
Buy a Verizon/AT&T/Boost Mobile number and port in the number after. Submit both rebates online.
Not sure about porting in at Costco. My rebate is still pending and I ported in after getting home instead.

What if I just need a new line? No port in.
I was thinking of doing this:
1) Go to costco and tell them I need a new line.
2) tell costco that it's for tmobile free line.
