I dId the free line deal at Costco yesterday. Took 15 minutes. The new line showed up as free in my account a few hours later.

I have not yet ported in a number or submitted any rebates. Debating whether to try the $100 offer via T-mobile. I would hate losing out on the $200 Costco card by doing so.

To those who are double dipping, are you using the port number for both the $200 and $100 rebates since that is the permanent number?

I added a line yesterday by calling tmobile, once I get the sim card can I take the sim card to costco and have them activated while I purchase the samsung Fe 5 G phone from them to get the 300 dollars gift card ?

Everything else is printed out on the sheets. It tells you exactly where to get the stuff they want you to fill out. Control number - top right, imei number - written above, but for permanent wireless number it doesn't say anything like that. It even specifies for tablet wireless you need to submit the tablet number. But for 5i. permanent wireless it doesn't say anything at all, it's only asking for a contact number

Does anyone know the answer to this...

Added the new free line yesterday at Costco and got the $200 GC form. Then last night contacted T-mobile via chat to port in a Verizon number, replacing the number Costco gave me for the T-mo $100 port-in promo.

The problem I am concerned with is that I also went with the "stacked" promo for 50% off a Pixel 4a or OnePlus 8t. Even though I said the new phone was for one of my old lines, I am thinking that since that added line was a requirement, that it will be tied into everything and disqualify my Costco $200 gc. Thoughts?

I did not have the phone with me.
He asked for IMEI#. I just asked him to pull 1 emei# from my t-mobile account while he is adding the line. That did it. Gave me the new sim card. Printed the rebate form.
After an hour or couple of hours, the new line showed up as free line.

Use permanent number. I asked rep about that three times and he said, use ported number. I did at Costco yesterday, but I couldn't submit the rebate as I get an error that there is already a submission for the control number.

I attached the same picture with the permanent numbers circled. The Costco rep told me to enter the permanent activated number in the circled box when submitting online. However, if that activated number is replaced by a port-in number, then the port-in number is the new permanent number to submit. It's that simple.

I do NOT have Costco membership. Can I get one tomorrow (11/27/2020) and port my ATT number to TM? I already got the new phone from TM, and I have to post the number now.

Also, I added a new line. Received the Phone, and did not get a TM SIM yet. Can I get this done at Costco too with new membership?

Why don't you check your rebate status? It will show the details of the rebate submission. That way, you can see if it was submitted correctly or if there's some kind of mess up with the control number (someone else mistyped your control number).

The paper and form are clear. 5i and the web form do not ask for the activated number. Anytime either the form asks or the sheet tells you to fill something out with provided info, they point out exactly what and where to get it from. 5i and the web form only tell you to enter a permanent wireless number, not an activated number and not the associated promo number.
