By the way, for those that got the line added that needed to have 15GB for data to "go through" ...well, I was in the same boat, took it off right away, and then the bill shows $11.50 charge and T-force chat won't take it off since I did use data (even though it's in KB or MB).
Was eventually given a one time credit for the charge. Whew.
Lady at Costco (last month) was a bit new though.
Damn so it sounds like we can go in and add a free line ($200 Costco cash card) w/ port in ($100 Tmobile rebate) at costco then still contact Tmobile to get 50% off a Pixel 4a 5G. Does this sound about right? Anyone have any luck with this?
Facebook T-Force said that Boost (ie ebay) and Google Voice isn't eligible for $100 rebate program.
Thank you for the confirmation. I did AT&T last time and everything went perfect so not trying to deviate this time. Crazy how there's barely any resellers this time.

T-Force Rep said that Boost AND Google Voice numbers are ineligible for $100 rebate.
Tmobile Rep:
I see this number is with legacy Sprint so we are not able to port it over it would need to be transferred. This is something our retail stores are handling directly. Do you need the nearest location? ^AlexisGovea
You sent Today at 1:19 PM I can ask the retail store to handle the porting process but the number being legacy sprint number mean I cannot get a $100 rebate after port-in?

Great question! This would not be eligible for the port in since Sprint is now a part of T-Mobile. ^AlexisGovea
You sent Today at 2:00 PM I understand, thank you!
How about Google Voice? Is Google voice eligible for a $100 rebate?
Tmobile Rep: sent Today at 2:27 PM
It does not look like Google voice would qualify I apologize! ^AlexisGovea

Thanks, what data did you end up getting with your line?
You need to get a new control number by calling or going there.
Do you know if a control number links to a specific phone number or IMEI number? I added multiple lines at Costco, on the rebate instruction form there's nothing but kiosk number filled by rep, no IMEI. Still confused which control number goes with which phone.
That happened last month. I wasn't aware, but I called and she manually gave me new control number matching with phone numbers, which allowed me to submit the rebates. We'll see what happens after a few more weeks.
So a control number has to match with a phone number?
