Can this free line be used with a smart watch? I've heard of non T-Mobile watches having to be activated with a voice line instead of their usual wearables plans but have yet to read about compatibility with free lines.
.. Last time when I did the port in promo I bought number from ebay.. but now nowhere I am able to find any seller on ebay.. number barn can also be used you need to confirm which carrier number is attached to ...
Search "verizon port number" on ebay; look for ones with good rep and lots of purchases. I just looked and you can definitely get one under $15. I did it recently and it ported great.

Eventually, but to satisfy the rebate, the IMEI needs to be a smartphone.

I went to Costco today and asked for the BYOD $200 promotion. The rep in charge at Costco insisted that I won't be eligible for the "add free line" promotion even though I am on T-Mobile one plan. He insisted that it will work only for the Magenta plan. He showed me the promo page that says it is only valid for the magenta plan with at least two paid lines. I had confirmed earlier with a T-Mobile rep that my plan is eligible for free promo. Costco rep says t-mobile reps are wrong. He says my plan will be eligible for free line at t-mobile store but not at Costco. I came back without adding the line.
Anybody who added the line at costco on/after 11/27/20 got the confirmation of the free? My SOC is FRLTUL4LP
I have the same SOC. I didn't even verified with a T-Mobile rep because I have the first and second free line this year. Promo is automatically added no wait time like the others.
I wanted to receive the $200GC from Costco and the $100 GC from Tmobile. Can I do this? Can I port the same number on my dad's phone at Costco and get the 2 giftcards? Please advise if this can be done?
But I am not a TMo customer. Do I sign up for a new postpaid plan when going for BYOD rebate?
Yes you need to and typically, these promotions are cost effective either if you are already part of T-Mo or porting multiple lines to T-Mo to average out $/line. You can then combine with T-Mo $100 port in rebate. Check the other thread for details.
Just started reading this thread yesterday and got a few questions hoping someone can answer:
1. I am new customer to T-Mobile. do I get $200 costco GC if I open a new account and port my line over?
2. I have total 4 lines with AT&T. To be eligible for "free new line" offer, should I do all 4 lines at costco together or make a second trip after getting two lines opened as new customer?
3. If eventually I move all 4 lines to T-Mobile, how many lines will qualify as "free new line", 1 or 2?
4. I do plan to get $100 GC, so I should port my lines after coming back from Costco, correct?
5. Existing customers mentioned SOC code. what is it? do I need one for any of the above offers ($200 Costco GC, $100 T-Mobile GC, Free New Line)?
There has been so many different suggestions and options mentioned across Costco T-Mobile threads. Could someone please help answer if the following deal is possible?
1. Costco BYOD $200 + Port-in $100 from T-mobile
2. Take the same ported-in number to apple to buy a new phone with SE tradein to get additional $150 GC
Can we stack all these on the same number or we need to have multiple numbers? Please help.
