So it'll be like this:

1. You go to costco and tell them nothing else than "I want new T-Mobile account with 4 lines". They will open it and give you temporary numbers and 4 forms for the $200 promo ($200 x 4 = $800 costco "cash" ). You may need 4 IMEIs of 4 unlocked or T-Mobile smartphones. Do not apply online until you have the permanent numbers.
2. Third line will be automatically free you don't have to do anything but have in consideration the discount is not 25% of final bill of $160, but a discount of $20 (12.5% off), since the lines are billed as follows, after autopay discount: 1st. $60 (paid), 2nd.$60 (paid). 3rd $20 (free). 4th $20 (paid).
3. You contact T-Force/T-Mobile to port in your 4 ATT lines to your new T-Mobile account. Then you can apply with the permanent numbers to the promotion 2020SWITHP2 ($100 x 4 = $400 cash cash).
4. You may apply now to Costco rebate as well permanent numbers.
After opening new line with new number (temporary number), how many days do I wait to port in the current permeant number? Do I go back to Costco to do port in?

Finished adding a free line with port from Cricket. Costco agent was a former Cricket employee, which may have helped with speeding things through. Port immediately completed and line activated immediately. Got $200 BYOD form with IMEI from device I wanted to use. Got confirmation under T-Mo account that "2020 Line On Us 3 added. Now, at 5-lines for $112 (after 2 free lines and insider discount). Whole process took less than 15-20 minutes, and account showed updated status within the hour.

Submitted $100 port in rebate with T-Mo and received tracking. Submitted $200 Costco Shop Card as well. Hopefully everything comes through.
Did you port-in your current permeant number at the same time you signed up with T-Mo or you got a new number first, activated it and then ported in your current number?

Current permanent number ported from Cricket. The Costco $200 rebate form had that number listed.

I plan to bring four lines to T-Mobile from Cricket. I see different sayings here about how to do port in for additional $100. Shall I do that at Costco or I need to do it after I bring home the four new T-Mobile lines. I even don't know how to port my permeant numbers to temporary T-Mobile numbers. Can some one advise?
Have your Cricket account number, PIN and phone number ready when doing this in Costco. For BYOD, make sure you have the phones handy, as compatible SIM may be needed depending on the device.

You will get 4 sets of printed forms from Costco. Verify TMo online account access and submit port in forms on the promotions site. I recommend porting in at Costco so you have the changes happen right away.

Costco rep had error message " Customer identify as a flex pay " when adding a new line for me, T-Mobile doesn't have any problems at my account to add a new line.

Anyone had this issue?

Thanks. I wonder if I bring in 4 lines. To qualify for 3rd free line. What plan should I choose?

yeah, apparently they are supposed to call the retail support line but not all of them will do it. I have tried at two costco's and both claim that calling RSL makes it so they don't get credit for adding the line. Others have had success though.

Just started reading this thread yesterday and got a few questions hoping someone can answer:

1. I am new customer to T-Mobile. do I get $200 costco GC if I open a new account and port my line over?
2. I have total 4 lines with AT&T. To be eligible for "free new line" offer, should I do all 4 lines at costco together or make a second trip after getting two lines opened as new customer?
3. If eventually I move all 4 lines to T-Mobile, how many lines will qualify as "free new line", 1 or 2?
4. I do plan to get $100 GC, so I should port my lines after coming back from Costco, correct?
5. Existing customers mentioned SOC code. what is it? do I need one for any of the above offers ($200 Costco GC, $100 T-Mobile GC, Free New Line)?

Thanks so much.
In addition to what others said replying to your questions - you may want to check another thread which might be quite relevant for your case:

https://slickdeals.net/f/14632753-new-t-mobile-customers-4-lines-for-120-mo-400-in-rebate-cards-when-you-port-in-potentially-free-iphones-pixels?page=3#commentsBox

You might be able to get 4 lines for $120, with 2 lines free, and other options that you might be able to stack ($200+$100+free phones).

In terms of plans, Magenta is almost always better than Essentials. Includes taxes, better for promo eligibility. In high tax places Essentials might end up being more expensive than Magenta.

SOC is a code for the plan that you will get with T-Mobile. Magenta SOCs should qualify for most if not all current promos and will have better eligibility for various future T-Mobile deals as compared to Essentials, military, 55+, etc.

I just went to costco to get this deal. Had the following error:
CUSTOMER IS IDENTIFIED AS FLEXPAY PLEASE REFER THEM TO CALL CUSTOMER CARE.
I called customer care and there was a 45 min wait. I didnt want to wait that long so I came back. Did anyone else have this issue? If so, what is the solution?
Thanks
Edit: I have simple choice with 9 lines, SCFUTT6. I dont have a flexpay account. Not sure why it is identifying me as a flexpay customer.

Can confirm offer is working at Richmond, CA costco location. Took 10 mins.
I have an old phone in my closet. Not sure if it even has a SIM. Would that qualify as a BYOD? Thanks

Does this work for Amplified (MGAMP2) lines?
(I know the free line promo does not.)
