The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I just bought a pixel a couple days ago through the TMobile 50% off promotion. Is there any way that I can still use this promotion with the pixel to get it for free?

or can I just return the previous pixel since I haven't opened it yet, and just do the whole thing over again? so that way I get the pixel for free and the free line?

I use them for our ipads. Give them out to family that comes and stays with us from overseas once in a while. Other than that not too much I guess but hey I'll take it

We already have one of the free lines from last time they offered it. I take it that makes me ineligible for this one right?

Do you have to have a certain amount of paid lines to get a free line?

T-Mobile is telling me I don't qualify because I have 4 paid lines only right now.
Need at least 2 paid lines

Does anyone have any experience with the T-Mobile Amplified plan? From my understanding its basically the Magenta Plus at the price of regular Magenta. I am about to switch to it but wondering if this will work with it.

Sorry I'm new with this. How do I go about getting this tomorrow? Do I call up T-Mobile and just tell them to add a new line? Is there some sort of promo that I need to reference with them? Not exactly sure what I need to tell the CSR.

Yup I am using mine on the iPad Pro without any issues. There was a bit of hassle in the beginning however since I was charged but so far it's been free after that.

Does T-Mobile charge tax for the line monthly? Like I know each of my current lines get taxed $3-$4 for different things.

Pretty new to T-mo. Still seems wild that every once in a while they just let you add a random line for free. If I can do this one, I'll be up to 2 (I know...I'm a noob) free lines and total monthy bill for 4 Magenta lines of $96 with insider discount. $24/line for unlimited seems pretty great.
I know, it is a bit crazy. I'm still a noob too but I already have 3 free lines and will get my 4th with this promotion - but I'm paying $120 because I signed up just before the insider discounts started (or I was unaware of them at the time) - still happy with $20 a line after I add my 4th free one to my 2 paid lines of Magenta!

You can add a line online ... you'll be charged $10 for the sim card. Note that there won't be any confirmation that the line is free. That shows up later after a # is assigned when the sim card ships. If you do it in store, they'll just add a line like you can do yourself online. You'll still pay $10 for the sim card but they'll also charge you $20 for their time. If you call in to add a line, the same $10 sim card and $20 assist fee will apply but if you get a nice rep, they might possibly waive one or both fees.
