The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

I have 2 lines on the Magenta 55+ Unlimited plan. From the reddit link, it looks like my soc code is MAG55TI2, which isn't on the eligible soc code list. I tried reading through the entire thread and it looks like most of the posters think my account would qualify for the free line. Anybody have a definite answer?

Alright, so I've followed this and some other threads for a while. Sorting through everything, this is my gameplan:

1) Unlock my GV number today (-$3)
2) Tomorrow, BYOD at Costco using a spare phone and porting the GV number (+$200)
3) Submit rebate for porting a line (+$100)
4) Verify that T-Mobile automatically treated the new/ported line as free.
5) Swap existing "paid" line with new "free" line
6) Cancel new "paid" lne after 1 year (assuming I don't need it}

Best outcome is that I make $297 (200+100-3)

Worst outcome is if #3 & 4 do not happen. In that case, I cancel the new line after I receive the Costco Shop Card which will cost me ~$60 for 3 months. Net is that I still make $137 (200-60-3).

Am I missing anything?
How do you swap a paid line with a free line?

If the port in is like the last time, GV lines won't be eligible. I was denied and so was a friend on the 200 dollar rebate

Buy one, gift one: Gift a new iPhone on us (up to $730 off) via 24 or 30 monthly bill credits depending on the device when you pick up a new iPhone 12 model or iPhone 11 model. Simply get both on EIP and then activate a new voice line on any postpaid plan (two lines for new customers).

If we can get this stickied, that would be awesome.
The OP states that the bogo promo will override the free line though. I would double/triple check with tmo first before going ahead with that deal.

This is a bogo offer, it can't be combine with the free line. The offer details clearly excludes any buy one get one offer

My understanding is that you ask T-Force to do this.

Any deals for new customers ?

I am looking for 4 lines. Only one of them needs about 3 to 5 GB data and other lines can live with 1 to 2 GB.
2 lines for 100 with 2 free lines look promising.

"May not be combinable with some offers or discounts" that is the fine print on all the deals T-Mobile has on phones was with T-Force for 1-hour with a different person each time, all of them said YOU CANNOT STACK the "free line on us deal" with any other phone deals.

So I guess we can go for the rebate card for porting our numbers!!

Is there a code for it? How does one get it? Sorry if it's stupid question
Periodically you will find t mobile reps giving out insider hookup codes. You will have to start a new plan to get the 20 percent off. You can't add the code to an existing plan =/
