How can existing customers take advantage of the iPhone trade in? I called CS and they were confused and said new customers only.

For the previous free add a line, from a couple of months ago, I was able to do the deal on my grandfathered 55+ account. (In fact, I could have added as many lines as I wanted to that account at that time, although only the first was free).

This time around, they won't let me add a line at all to that account. So I guess they flipped the flag that was allowing many lines to be added to a 55+ account.

How about Tello numbers? They are Eligible to port over. Not sure if they're qualified for 100.

Just got my 3rd free line @ Costco. Checked with support and they said it looks good on their end. Based off last experience, the system should processes the promo overnight and show up the following day.

Weird. I never had this issue. I just got my third and mine have credited correctly since day one.

AFAIK, No, T-Mobile will not port from one account to another and give you a promo. It's just a change of responsibility.
Some of the old free line promotions did not credit you right away. For me, it's after 2 billing cycle.

Do you need to pay $10 for a new sim card to avail of the free line offer or can they just add the line and you provide them with your own spare sim #. . The agent I spoke with charged me for the new sim....maybe I could cancel that order if I already have one.

Make sure you apply for the costco rebate after doing your port in with your port in number. However confirm this with Costco as well.

This is the first time that I've done this. I did it over chat, and the rep said that he added the line and was going to ship me a SIM card since I didn't have one. I don't see anything in my account. Does this mean I have to wait for the SIM to arrive before this will show up?

I tried skimming this thread, but it's up to 84 pages now, and I may have missed this specific request.

so just got back from Costco, they added the line to the account and I'm on the Tmobile account page now, I see the new line and it says 0.00 but I don't see the new 'Line On Us' discount... I see some others already have that new discount showing... should I be worried?
