For anybody that acquired a random qualified trade in phone from ebay or wherever for these Tmobile trade in offers, what should I be putting in for the Carrier (that the phone is coming from) to fill out the trade in form if I don't know the network previously used by the unlocked phone. Do they some sort of network check?

My Costco was too crowded... so I opted to do it by phone (the chat message box for me wasn't working). Got the new line free, just had to pay the $10 sim card fee (which Costco always wavies).

They charged me $10 (sim) + $20 for the representative to put in the order. I asked if I could go online and place the order myself without paying the $20, so they said they would waive the $20 fee for me, so I only had to pay for the sim card.

Also confirmed that the $100 rebate to port over my number would work, I would just need to start that process once I get the sim card.

I must've missed it on the Wiki but do I need to register for the Costco promo or $100 rebate on the website anymore? Or is everything automatic?
you need to apply for it, unless the costco rep applied it.

Is there a link for the $100 rebate for porting a line. TF is unfamiliar with this promo.

Any help?

Where you able to add along with the 50% off Google Pixel 4A offer when adding a new line and the $200 Costco gift card for BYOD?
I didn't attempt to stack both of those because multiple people said they won't stack since Costco is BYOD and I didn't want to take the risk.

I ended up doing two different orders:

1) free line + 50% off Pixel + port-in

and

2) add new paid line + Costco $200 + port-in

Check with another rep or Costco if in your area. Was able to add a line to similar plan SCUTTF6. Costco rep has to call t mobile customer care if you have corporate discount or something.
Thank you. I will give that a try. I have been with T-Mo for so long that the grandfathered plan is now called a promotional plan. I do have a corp discount which they said that I cannot have it but still it shows on my account and get me just $1.50 off. Probably that make my plan ineligible.

My SOC is SCUTTF4 and the T-Mo rep told me I am not eligible for free line as this plan already is a promotional plan... Frown
I have the same SOC number as you (SCFUTT4) and I was able to add a free line at Costco, BYOD with a ported number from Google Voice

No go for me. I'm in T-Mobile One with 8 lines and the system switches to a 9-12 line plan and they won't grandfather in T-Mobile One as the 9-12 is basically a new plan. The Magenta 9-12 plan would cost me $100 a month to add the free line. Sooo I'll wait until 10/2021 and cancel every paid line I'm not using daily and slowly build back up to 8 lines with four being free hopefully eventually.
I might have to do something like that too. But why do you say you need to wait til 10/2021? Shouldn't the cancelling be done ASAP to address the 90 day lookback and make room for future free lines? If you wait to 10/2021, you won't clear the 90 day lookback until 1/2022.

This is awesome! The bad thing is more congestion on already congested network! I am getting .1mbps, a couple times, .01 Down, 0 Up.
