The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

Folks who are seeing the discount in their online account- did you all receive a text like "Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details." I received such a text last time I took advantage of the free line promo.

Long story short, I and my friend left cost after we added the lines and I checked my account after an hour and boom 2020 line on us 3, both our accounts showed.
how these guys get hired is beyond me... story is funny as hell

I have the old grandfathered simple choice plan with 4gb of data.

tmobile says the add a line is free, but the data is not. and since they no longer offers 4gb of data, its 6gb for $15, this doesn't sound right to me... can someone help?

because I can just pay the $10 and get the line with 4gb, why would I pay $15 for this line?

I brought my phone in but for some unknown reason the system didn't take its IMEI# so Costco's rep uses an IMEI generator site to generate one and put it onto the rebate instruction page. He said to use my phone's IMEI# when filling out the rebate, but the instructions indicate to use the one on the form.

I participate the free line promotion in Jun and today for my family plan. one member in my plan will quite. If i cancel his line (a paid line), will my free lines be affected? Do i need to wait some time before cancelling the line?

Maybe you can go to visit the kiosk again to make sure if the using phone imei will work 100%?

Yes, you can't cancel a paid line until 12 months AFTER the LAST free line is added.

Data point - account updated itself after several hours and is now showing 2020 Line on Us 3. I guess we just need to be patient.

Also was able to add One Plus Promo to free line. This was a challenge. Lots of rep hopping until I found someone who was willing to add it
