The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

For porting: Anyone review the terms
1. Is Google Voice eligible?
2. What about Boost?

I used a couple of promos last night. I traded in two iphone 8+ in order to get $830 off the iPhone 12. The only promo that worked eith this is the $100 port in rebate. You go to promotions.t-mobile.c0m and enter the promo code 2020switchp2 . My free line did not work with these promos so I ported in my third phone which I still owed $600 on and used the promo carrier switch where they pay up to $450 in rebate card to aid in paying off your old phone to switch over. This promo was eligible for the free line, but not eligible for the $100 rebate.
Yes, the keep and switch promo will be lightning fast, you will receive the $450 within a week or two. Last round it was combinable with $250 Boyd portin to yield $700Whee

K&S should also combine with Costco $200 yesterday and $300 tom.byod offers.

Did anyone who placed the order online, did your line show up yet? I ordered yesterday online but order is still processing.
It took about 24 hours for it to show up for me. The 3rd line popped up into my account last night, of course I got this deal earlier than most on 11/24.

I did go ahead and add a line at Costco for the BYOD promo. Worst case I will cancel after I receive the $200.
Yeah, tmobile removed the amplified socs from the original soc list posted according to reddit. But I mean if it says you got the promotion on your account, no harm done.

Hmmm. My plan went from 140 to 170 after adding this free line. I am hoping it will update over the weekend. Anyone else in the same situation? I started with magenta plus plan and got the 3rd line free. Added a 4th (free) earlier this year, and now this 5th free line. My promotions are:

$10 AutoPay Discount
$15 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$30 2020 3rd Line On Us (Additional Lines)
$30 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)

I am assuming a $30 2020 Line on Us 3 is what I am looking for?
That's correct.

If you do this online, is there any way to bypass the $10 SIM. If you get the Pixel 4a 5G, doesn't it come with a SIM anyway? I was planning on activating the eSIM either way.

In the past, I have added my free lines via a phone call with TMO rep.
Is this something that can be done online or through the TMO app via text/chat?
How much did they charge you when you added the free line via phone call to TMO rep?

No. It has to be from another carrier like AT&T or Verizon or any of their MVNOs. Google Voice may work also, but nobody knows yet.

Rep told me that all lines should keep active for at least 1 year. If you cancel any line before it, you'll lose free line credit. Can you please clarify where 90 days term is from?
I need some clarification.

Let's say I add free line for the yesterday's promo and it doesn't show up as free after a week or two. So then I cancel that line...but why would it affect the free line from Sept...this new line that I am cancelling wasn't there in Sept. Summary - If you cancel a line within a year that existed when you added a free line, then you can lose the free line. But if you cancel a line that was added after the free line and u cancel that should be ok. Is this correct?

I would port and use the port in number
The problem is that I already submitted the rebate using the temp number. I haven't ported in the number yet.

T-Force told me Google Voice does count and will have to submit the rebate once my SIM arrives.
