However looking at a similar model (90R7) it lists 380W power supply - and the memory is dual channel (2x8GB) which is good (if in fact this model is also that way, who knows). But only a single PCIeX1 expansion slot.
No optical drive if that is important..

Personally I'd choose Lenovo over HP due to having to fix a lot of HPs that broke due to poor design, but that was years ago so I can't speak to current quality. Just have always steered clear of HP since then.

They are supposed to have a 7i coming soon to replace last year's T730. Should go as high as a 10900K with RTX 2080ti.
Personally I'd choose Lenovo over HP due to having to fix a lot of HPs that broke due to poor design, but that was years ago so I can't speak to current quality. Just have always steered clear of HP since then.

Was considering either the i3 one that goes for $349 or i5 one for $499 that also has 256GB SSD. With coupon and cashback the i3 would be around $315 with tax and i5 for $450 with tax. Would either of these be worthwhile to get or would a custom build be better with better specs that would cost similar in parts.
