The specs don't mention mmWave, so this isn't the special ultra-wideband version from Verizon. It's just the regular sub-6ghz one from Google. Still, not a bad price if the deal happens.

What's the advantage of the ultra wideband version?

Where "greater" means "faster", but only in the very, very limited number of places that 5g Wideband is available, and likely only if you're actually outside on the street.

https://www.verizon.com/coverage-map/ has the details, but you're going to need to zoom in to street-level on one of the few dozen cities to see where the almost non-existent coverage actually exists (eg, San Francisco or New York).

Would have been nice if it's a gift card, even after 60 days, instead of bill credits for 24 very long months.

No thanks. The deal for Samsung A71 is still better as it is cheaper and specs wise it is better https://www.phonearena.com/phones...1395,11401

Its a slipper slope for Android updates. Samsung has improved a lot recently regarding releasing the software upgrades. The A71 comes with a free case as well ($50 credit).

On a 3a and Xfinity mobile so this would be an easy upgrade for me if I just have to pay in full and get a $250 giftcard.

Really wish they carried the Pixel 5. Hopefully they will soon and add this promo for it.

Which deal for the A71? On xfinity mobile? On the xfinity mobile site, I only see a $300 off samsung phones offer and that one excludes the A71 - it would only have brought it down to $349.99 anyway.

I cant imagine if they are a Verizon MVNO why it wouldn't be the UW version, but cant seem to verify this either, says 5G coming to device in software updates later in the year
