Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

Posted on previous page, you can, through the M365 tools app. Just do some more digging and you'll find the setting.

Did you also try changing your serial number with Ninebot Flasher? That's another way of derestricting the speed.
Was just editing my post. I was indeed able to change the lighting through m365 tools!

No, haven't tried changing SN yet.

Just tried. Does not work. 139 fails to flash.

Nothing working there so far.

---
For those taking count, I bought 2. Both have flashing Bluetooth. When I connect with the official or third party apps via Android, the scooter beeps and Bluetooth logo becomes solid. Locked in Sport mode, 15.5 mph/25 km/h, can't flash firmware like everyone.

For those without Bluetooth, you're not missing too much.
So far, Bluetooth features:
-Lock/unlock the scooter. Locking just makes it so gas pedal doesn't work and the electronic brake is applied when you try to roll the scooter manually. It makes a relatively quiet beep if you try to roll it. Would fail as a deterrent in my opinion. Also comically, you cannot turn off the scooter while it is locked, so you have the flashing RGB LEDs on the undercarriage continuously going while it's locked.
-Modify regen: low (default)/med/high. This is how much the scooter applies electronic braking when you're cruising without pressing gas or brakes.
-Cruise control: on/off. If on, if you hold the gas for 5 seconds straight while riding, the scooter will beep and then keep the gas on without needing to press gas until you brake.
-Through 3rd party app m365 tools:
---Turn on/off tail light. This allows you to make it so the tail light isn't always on, instead it's only on when brakes are applied. Personally I'd keep it on.
---Modify the undercarriage LED lighting
-Through 3rd party app Nine Dash: Can change scooter display to mph or km/h.
-There is no ability to change speed, sport mode, or undercarriage LEDs so far.
Thanks! Finally someone with hard facts Smilie

Does the regen setting also change the braking performance? The brake seems very mushy/light on mine. It's a very gradual slow down as opposed to an actual brake?

OK just tried changing serial number both with XiaoFlasher on Android and Ninebot-Flasher on Windows. Both perform the same behavior. Scooter beeps 3 times when flashing. XiaFlasher says error. Ninebot-Flasher doesn't say anything about an error. Regardless, both do NOT change the serial number for me (maybe someone else will get more lucky). I tried both just changing the 4th digit from R to T and also changing to the commonly posted-about serial: N2GTX2222C0077. Did not work.

I haven't messed with it. As far as I understand, it should just affect what happens when you're not pressing either. The electronic brake isn't a real brake, that's why it feels that way to you. That's why when scooter comparing, you'll see a lot of charts include whether a scooter has disc brakes. On the flipside, it does regenerate to the battery unlike real brakes.

Agreed. I wish I bought 4 instead of 2.

Although we all want this thing to go faster, I think we'll all be happy when we have our first wipeout that we weren't going 25mph. Remember in science class, mass * acceleration=force we hit the ground with. Reducing the acceleration may be the difference between broken bones versus bruises... And wear your helmets people unless you want to be a vegetable.

So I did some research and for those having bluetooth issues, you may just have to buy a stock dashboard and replace it, pretty simple to do too. They're like $25 on Amazon, some likely have free returns if it doesn't work out. Do some more research for yourself if you go this route.

Edit 1 - You can change the board/deck lights using the M365 tools app.

Edit 2 - You can use the Nine Dash app to change from km/h to mph (I haven't personally done this, but some users have had success with it, there should be a setting somewhere in that app)
Is the app named M365 Plus? I am in the iOS store

I assume that app only works if you have BT working?

I believe so. From my experience, ninebot app doesn't see the scooter at all. All other apps (M365, Xiaoflasher, Nine Dash) sees the scooter and when I hit connect on the app, the scooter beeps, but no information gets transmitted to the app.

Since the bluetooth module in the scooter definately works, I think it's a software lock and the reason some are able to connect via bluetooth is that those scooters have different firmware that allows a bluetooth connection.

i think 15 mph is plenty especially considering the small wheels. can easily take a dive when you miss a bigger pothole etc.

If you are in socal, and interested in buying mine, pm me, I have 2 that I plan on return as I find it hard to balance. Not the scooter fault. Just my first time on a scooter and don't feel I have a good grasp of it to go past 3mph.😂
Hey man, I've sent you a PM ... let me know if it's still available.

My charge indicator on my external battery doesn't light up at all ... Anyone?

Tried pressing/holding the button and doesn't light up anything ... The app shows I have 2 batteries though. The red lights on the external battery light up too when the headlight is on.

It doesn't really matter to me as long as that external battery is actually working. I'm charging it to 100% right now and I'm going to track how many miles I will get on a full charge. Hopefully, it's close to 28miles and that will tell me that both batteries are working fine.
