I picked one up for $550 tax free from B&H last week. No complaints here.

Using S20 FE for over a month now - a huge upgrade over S8+ I carried before. One problem, however, here in SoCal I'm getting 5bar 5G coverage in quite a few areas, whenever I see 5bars in 5G I try speed test to a local T-Mobile speed test server and I'm getting 2-3mbps down and about 10 up... read some people also have a similar problem. Very annoying. Only once did I get actually about 40mbps down. Not sure if this is a phone or TMobile 5G but when your phone is fast and the network is slow - it is noticeable.

Hoping to get S20 instead of S20FE. FE is budget, weaker model.

Do these deals work if you're on a grandfathered plan or does it require you be on a current generation plan?

Has anyone upgraded to this from a Note 8 and can say what their experience is? Ready to upgrade my note 8 and just looking for a good deal on the s20 series.
I did this upgrade path. Everything about the FE is nicer, although the Note 8 shape is a bit more palmable. The FE has some screen touch issues which the Note 8 did not. Much better battery life on FE. Samsung is working on the FE. At free after rebate (via bill credits), it was a no brainer upgrade for me on Sprint.

Anyone knows if Select Choice plans are eligible? We have been excluded from pretty much any tmobile promotions lately...

I see the lowest plan is 60. If they unlock after 40 days that means two months of payment.
229+120= 349. Plus you have to pay tax on 529.
Still good price but if i can stay under 300 i will jump on.

Would this work for mint while locked?
Yes. It will work with mint or any MVNO which uses TMobile network.

Issue is not completely resolved even after 3rd update.

Likely a hardware issue. Samsung is probably dumping current inventory at a steep discount. Don't buy the phone.

Still waiting for a note 20 trade in deals from Costco. Until then, I'm holding onto my note 9.
