I had that mainstays one in white. It rattled like a sonofabitch when the fan kicked on. Loud enough to be a real issue. Replaced it with a second unit that started rattling in the same way after two weeks. Decided spending an extra $15 on a nicer one was worth it.
They are ALL of the same efficiency. Electricity is converted to heat at nearly 100% efficiency.
They are also all of the same wattage, 1.5KW, because that's the max that can be drawn from common USA residential circuitry.
That's true. But this one looks a little nicer. It's good to have options. Thanks for sharing.

The tripod configuration won't get kicked over. It's like slamming your trunk of your car at night with the lights on. Over time it eats light bulbs. Same thing happen with that mainstays design.

Need one without a fan; crazy how these gigantic corporations bury specs like that (a huge difference).

He/she won't, mine stands in front of my ceramic and moves when it get's too hot.

1500 watt heater is a 1500wt heater, I got 2 from Ollie's bargain for $15 each, Walmart has cheap ones too.
