You could also potentially get an additional $100 rebate on this which would make the phone's price come down to around $45 for me including Tax.
Found the following information courtesy @zero2duo on the Moto G Stylus Slickdeal which was posted a few days ago(I did update the link to reflect Moto G7 plus which is $122 dollars now on Amazon)
Note: Make sure the phone and sim card say they are both "Sold by" and "Shipped by" Amazon.com. This is a requirement for the rebate
3. Checkout and place order. Keep an eye out on the order and make sure Amazon has both items in the same order. The rebate states both phone and sim card kit must be on the same order. Some people said Amazon split up the items to 2 different orders, so not sure they were able to talk to rebate folks to sort it out.
4. When both items arrive, go buy a "$15 Tracfone Air time plan card" online from Target or Best Buy for quick email delivery.
I had bought the $15 card from Target long before the people on the "Amazon $100 TracFone thread" confirmed the $9.99 card from Tracfone's website works. I would just get the $15 to not risk anything.
5. Once you have all 3 items, prepare proof for rebate
a) Take a pic of the Moto G7 Plus box's IMEI info, the whole section (IMEI, Serial, etc)
b) Open Tracfone sim card kit, it will have 3 sim cards (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon). Take a pic of the ATT sim card first, then pull it out
c) Take pictures of your "Amazon Order Details" and "Amazon Invoice"
d) Copy your pictures to your computer, use Paint, and make a single jpg that had Amazon Order Details, Amazon Invoice, ATT Sim Card, Moto box with the IMEI. You can only upload 1 file and someone on slickdeals said it had a 5MB limit
e) Type out all critical info down in a txt file so you can easily copy and paste the info later
Moto G7 Plus
P/N:
IMEI:
MEID (HEX):
ATT Sim Card Number:
Tracfone $15 Airtime Plan Card
Card Number:
PIN:
6. Activate Tracfone service (this is base on my memory)
a) With the phone powered off still, put the Tracfone AT&T sim card in
b) Go to tracrone on your computer --> https://www.tracfone.com/
c) Click "Activate"
d) Click "I'm bringing my own smartphone"
e) Accept the prompt pop up
f) Enter the Tracfone AT&T Sim Card number. You need to enter the entire thing where it's 5 digits first, then a space, and then more numbers that are underline
Ex: 89014 10xxxxxxxxxxxx
g) Then I think it says "sim card is valid" and proceeds to next screen
h) Next screen asks you if you got a Airtime Plan card. This is where you would enter the Airtime "PIN Number" and the "Card Number".
i) Then I next after that, it asks if you want to create a Tracfone online account or not. I chose to make one, so that I could set a PIN number, in case I wanted to port the Tracfone number (which will expire in 30 days anyways) to Metro or Boost (in case they have a good deal).
j) Finally it will tell you to turn the phone on, wait for its services to finish set up, and that you will get a text with the Tracfone phone number and that SMS/MMS is done setting up. I waited for the text msg on the phone before I clicked CONTINUE on the website
k) Once you get the service text msg, try calling and texting on the phone
l) When you see it works, click CONTINUE on the screen, and you are done with activation
7. After you activate the service, you must wait 24 hours for it to register in Tracfone's system. Note that they don't work on the weekends, so if you activate on a Friday, you'll need to wait until Monday. To be safe, I waited more than 24 hours (activated Friday afternoon, claimed rebate on Tuesday morning).
b) Enter your info. If you saved your info in a txt file like I suggested, you can copy and paste
- The "Choose your Brand", select from the drop down box "Tracfone"
- The "Serial Number for Phone" is incorrect and confuses people; this is the phone's IMEI Number
- The "SIM Card Serial Number" is the AT&T Sim Card Number
- Do the captcha
- Click Submit
- I believe the next screen is where you upload the jpg picture of proof
c) Finally you get a screen saying that the rebate claim is submitted successfully and will be processed
d) Within an hour or so, you will get an email from "[email protected]" and Subject Line "Holiday Virtual Bundles"
- It will have a link and code for you to use
- After entering the code, it will ask if you to enter info: name, address, phone number email address
For email address, I put the one I used to make the Tracfone account
For phone number, put down the new Tracfone number that was activated
- Then in a drop down box, it ask which payment method do you want: Venmo payment, Amazon gift card, debit card
I picked Amazon gift card since it's the quickest
e) In less than 15 minutes, I got an email from "[email protected]", Subject Line "Tracfone Rewards", with the Amazon gift card code. I clicked the link to have the gift card automatically loaded to my Amazonn account.
9. Once you get the rebate/gift card, you can take that Tracfone sim card out, and put your Verizon sim card into the Stylus (since the phone is already unlocked to begin with and will work on all carriers)
With the rebate, the phone overall cost (with taxes and the airtime card) about $130 for me. It's well worth the little effort to get this deal."
I just ordered it on Amazon and plan to try this next week.
I have Moto G7 international edition and its surprisingly good with updates. I received Android 10 update some months back and have been consistently getting security updates too. Right now on October security update.
What's so bad about it??

I seems to be the same price(or close) everywhere(Best Buy & Amazon) as far as I can tell.
A few things to consider:
* It is GSM only
* It doesn't support VoLTE(Actually, conflicting specs here. It looks like it does support VoLTE? Probably better to verify yourself)
* It is a 2019 model and Motorola has a very limited support window so if you are the type to care about updates this might not be a great choice.
Otherwise, it is solid product at the $120 price point.
They are similar but the Moro G Power is a 2020 model and this a 2019. Other than that there are differences you would have to compare and contrast for yourself. I would say for most people the Moto G Power 2020 model is a better choice but it depends what your priorities are. That being said, whether it is worth the extra money is a different question.

Hate, hate, HATE my &7 power! Should have spent the additional money on the pixel 4.

It isn't that they aren't good with updates, it is just that they don't support the phone for all that long. It won't be long until it doesn't get anymore. If you have been using it for the last 18 months that is probably pretty reasonable but if you buy it this late in it's lifecycle and it only gets 6-12 months more of updates that is a different proposition.
On the other hand, some people don't update their devices so it is a non-issue for them.
