My experience with backlit keyboards is they wash out on white or silver laptops due to the screen reflecting off of the keys. Opt for the Fog Blue to minimize.

Wow $400 for Ryzen 7 4700U + FHD screen + WiFi 6 (just $10 for the WiFi upgrade, so why not futureproof it), it's gotta be one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest ever for that combo.

A pretty futureproof buy, and I think the RAM and SSD are replaceable so if you need to do it now, or in the future, it's a perfect base to start with.

The email address has to match on FedEx side as well. I already had a FedEx account with everything the same except my HP purchase was made using my work email. Once I created a new account with the work email and my home address, the tracking info showed up.

Thanks for the comments, but I was asking the laptop battery. It charges till 100% when plugged in but I want to reduce it e.g., to 50~60% to increase the longevity of the laptop battery.

If it would be 2933 then i would have said no you might not see a difference, but 2666 is slower than 3200. One more thing that you should keep in mind when you are getting ram is the CAS Latency or CL. Lower the better.

I see. I thought you asked for slower charge, not partial charge.
It's not good to keep lithium batteries over 90 degrees F.
It's not good to keep them over 70-80% charged.
Having them permanently installed in a plugged-in laptop tends to cause both.
And I don't know of any way to set a maximum charge lower than 100%. (But it's entirely possible that 100% on the battery meter is 90% in real life if HP built a safety factor into it)

No updates on the FedEX tracking from last night when it said it was released but too late to make the plane. Looks like another night in Anchorage (been there since the 10th).

yeah... Lenovo, ASUS, and Samsung have a built-in option to lower the maximum charging rate, and I thought HP also has one.

Same here! that's disappointing as I thought the customs issue was fixed - guess its not. Although I thought I read that another SD'er showed same status and received it today so who knows...
