My experience with backlit keyboards is they wash out on white or silver laptops due to the screen reflecting off of the keys. Opt for the Fog Blue to minimize.

Wow $400 for Ryzen 7 4700U + FHD screen + WiFi 6 (just $10 for the WiFi upgrade, so why not futureproof it), it's gotta be one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest ever for that combo.

A pretty futureproof buy, and I think the RAM and SSD are replaceable so if you need to do it now, or in the future, it's a perfect base to start with.

FedEx just goes purely off the address and name I think. So any incoming no matter what, will show up as long as name and address match.

I don't think you'll have any issues selling them if you want to. These were an awesome deal. Especially if you do some upgrades yourself.

Yeah I wish I had gotten in on this one. Had it in my cart on the 27th just as they started going out of stock at the low price. Wound up going with the Non-Pavilion i7 instead.

This is getting annoying. Fedex is delivering it for the last two days. However, it has been in transit since 9:42 pm AK time Monday and as of 4:11 pm AK time Tuesday has left the Fed Ex Location (does it mean it is on plane or still waiting to get on a plane?). FedEx customer service is of no help, typical of a corporation in these times.

I think so, mine has done the same. It has at least left Alaska.

Yes, I got the blue color and it does have fingerprint reader as well. Seems well built and I love the blue metallic finished.

Did you have to remove the entire rubber strip in the back to access the screws or just a portion of the rubber strip? Do you have any tips on how to pry of the case or back cover? Also, I was just planning on putting in 16 gb of ram since I got a good deal during black Friday for a pair of 8gb crucial for about $48, would that be enough ram or would 32gb be better? Thanks

The white model indeed has a fingerprint reader. It looked like a placeholder But I cannot setup windows hello face as windows says there is no compatible camera! I am wondering if they traded off something here and had to put in a fingerprint reader. Just after setup, played a video from YouTube and audio did not work. Windows troubleshooter was able to identify it as a driver issue and automatically download and install and asked me to restart the system. Checking windows update, there were tons of pending updates and surprisingly a number of them are driver updates - Got all updates installed to avoid further glitches!
