In a business, you don't leave things up to chance.
Look at Apple, do you think they would have signed a contract with Samsung that had a huge loophole in it where Samsung could just walk away without supplying the amount of displays that Apple needs? Of course not!
It is the EXACT SAME pixel detection as the V1/V2/Pan.
Nothing has changed there. So, headlights, wind blowing objects, bugs close to the lens, and things like that are detected the same way for V1/V2/Pan or the new V3. Only the WOC (battery powered one) has a PIR sensor for detection, so that wouldn't go off for headlights and all that.
With Cam+, the clip is sent to Wyze's servers, and from there they run a routine to determine if it a person / pet / vehicle or whatever, but, this is still the same results no matter what cam you got.
In the latest V2 and Pan firmwares (Nov 18, 2020) they have changed/improved the motion tracking and detection for when a detection zone is enabled.
* Changed the motion tracking logic when a detection zone is enabled.
In the latest V2 and Pan firmwares (Nov 18, 2020) they have changed/improved the motion tracking and detection for when a detection zone is enabled.
The cams will still go off if headlights / heavy snow/rain wind blown objects and whatever else are detected in the zone you have specified.
Anybody ??

Companies do this ALL THE TIME to get new customers. And as a current customer you should want the company to get more consumers so they'll grow and expand and hopefully enhance the services and products you already receive.
