About time! Waiting for Amazon to price match. Yes, Adorama is a legit site.
As a 1st Gen Sonos 5 owner, I can attest to the 3.5mm jack being a huge advantage. I have my record player wired into it, and it sounds fantastic and saved me from having to buy a separate pair of bookshelf speakers.
That said, as a 1st Gen Sonos 5 owner I also have to warn you that Sonos dropped ongoing support for my device earlier this year. They did that with a few other legacy devices as well. What that means in practice is that if Spotify, Tidal, etc. were to change how their API operates, it may break support for my device. It also means that this device can no longer integrate with newer Sonos devices that are running on their new S2 software.
They offered current owners 30% off a new device, but it's still a tough sell for people who sunk a lot of money into an integrated Sonos system throughout their house. So your concern isn't just whether Sonos will stay in business (which doesn't seem like a near term issue) but whether they will fully support your device in the future.
All told, I really love my speaker -- just hate the selective support.
Yes Adorama is legit. If you have an American Express card, you may have a $25 off offer for Adorama and/or Best Buy. I had one for Adorama and used it on the Sonos Move.

Oh nice. I was waiting for the five to go on sale and was disappointed it wasn't part of the Black Friday pricing. Presumably they held off until Cyber Monday.
I assume this will be the price for other retailers tomorrow. For some reason Adorama makes the sale prices available the night before other companies.

Bought from Adorama dozens of times. Very good company. Better than Amazon honestly.
As far as I know, Amazon never price matches. Where did you see this?
