8 months ago this was $35 or so, but the current $20 coupon brings it down to $39.99. Thoughts if it's worth $40 from those that bought 8 months ago?

I've had mine for 4 years and it's working perfectly. It's extremely bright. There's no zoom/focus unfortunately. It has 5 settings that you move through with a half press or full on and off of the power button. It can get hot so keep your hands away from the front.

I have many higher end lights like olight, etc. I can honestly say worth $40 it is ready to go with a good 26650 battery which a big Lithium Ion battery and is worth half the price alone. This is the one kept close to my front door for the fam to use. It has onboard charging with a micro USB port. I wish it had a USB-c port to charge but for this price can't complain. If you want a single ready to go workhorse this is what I recommend.

Not hot, uses three smaller XPG2 leds. Big form factor, mediocre output.

This doesn't look like a good product. For a $40 flooder I'd get a Wowtac A5: brighter, more efficient electronics to sustain high output, and much more compact.

I'm sure it's fine, but there are better lights for a similar price.

For less money and better performance, plus the option of a neutral tint, I'd consider the Sofirn SO33 v3

I agree with these guys. Get a Sofirn, Wowtac, lumintop. If you have more money then Thrunite. Anker is good for other things, not for flashlights

Only 1,300 lumens? Yesterday I saw a Duracell 2,500 lumen one for $20 at Costco, though not rechargeable/Li-Ion. Also haven't compared LED chips, quality, etc. and manufacturer's claims could be exaggerated..

Nothing special here. I would look at other brands with more power. Thumbs Down..

He means SP33 Ver 3. Twice the light as the one in post. I own it. It will take 3 weeks from China or order off Amazon for quick ship and higher price. The lumens are accurate by the way.

Duracell at Costco???

Those are not flashlights, they are money pits for D-cell batteries.

True, you get what you paid for. I have bought Duracell flash lights many times from Costco because they are so cheap. None of them last more than a year. Some drains battery and some just stopped working. Invest your money buying a good flash light and 18650 and it will last you a long time instead of throwing away junkies polluting the world.

Love my thrunite t1. T2 goes on sale fairly regularly for around 50. Definitely a great option if you can spend a bit more.

Trying to not buy any more flashlights for a bit as I just ordered a d4v2 copper.... 😁
