Shipping can be killer, but they sometimes run specials with free shipping. Buying gift cards and waiting for a free shipping deal is probably the best way to maximize the deal.

He orders something once or twice every month or two depending on the deals he finds. I've not yet been disappointed... or suspicious.

Also, based on when I was at the Commander's Palace, I'd recommend against them. If you have a particular fondness for NOLA, you'll probably have a different outlook, but it decidedly fell into the category of "Interesting, but why?" for me.
