I had a very difficult time trying to cancel my planet fitness membership this year after covid shut everything down, my location became completely unresponsive. I had to contact corporate many times. I was still charged an annual membership fee which I have yet to be able to get refunded. Don't waste time with this crappy business.

However I also see:

Just remember these companies are not in the fitness business they make money by you *NOT* going to the gym and continuing to pay for your membership. If everyone went 3 days a week to the gym, they wouldn't be in business at these prices lol

Tell them you don't have a bank account.
Use cash or a prepaid card (with only $100 on it) and you avoid all the issues.

this is like my 5th year using this promo.

Also, a lot of health insurances refund the fee for a gym membership, so look into that if you have health insurance.

Like I said our club does not accept anything other than a direct bank account link. I have edited because apparently, YMMV, as someone said they are mostly franchises. Is yours corporate or just some franchisee who accepts those methods?
I just for kicks went on their site, but our club isn't participating in your deal at all. AND they require your bank info for any plan.
