it is a mess indeed. But I just bought two of these for pickup tomorrow and the racks I bought, silver, were in fact only $38 each. A pretty good deal actually. Thanks OP. Repped.
Looks fine to me. Also, SD has many faults, but this post is just something being shared by an individual user like me or you. It's completely unreasonable to expect perfection. Instead, we should be grateful that some random stranger decided to take the time and share the deal.
This is a YMMV, and the listing is a mess. It's like SD no longer has even an attempt at quality control.

You really need to read the fine print on the cb sites. R10, GivAs, BeFru, etc all had 6%, but only for walmart photo center. Everything else listed was 1%, and the category of the shelving was not even on that list. The 5% from chase freedom will actually work though.

Was tempted since it was a 6 shelf unit, but $50 before shipping killed it for me. Also was infuriating that the weight capacity was not included anywhere on the website and googling turned up nothing useful other than someone saying it could handle a kitchenaid mixer.
I bought 4 of these 5-shelf units to have shelving at our current home, and after we move, may make 3 shelving units into 6+ shelves by cannibalizing from the 4th shelf so that it can be used in the pantry for canning and smaller items. I realize it will affect the load capacity, but I won't be coming near the shelf capacity, even after dividing out for the added shelves.

Assembly is a mess. The black plastic pieces that hold the shelves can slip down the pole. Not good.
They are a pain to setup sure, but once installed correctly they dont slip. I have 4 similar shelves from 10 years ago with same mechanism and the shelves haven't moved at all.

I wouldn't worry about load capacity of just a 6th shelf. The 70 per shelf is a super conservative estimate of the friction fit (plastic) wedges that hold up the shelf. The actual limit of the 4 legs has to be much higher than the 350 total limit they list.
I logged in to Wally, and it came out to $58.
Gave up.
Later in the day, I did a CCleaner run (deleted cookies). And clicked on the deal and sure enough, the deal was showing at $38 wtf, so i when i logged in to wally again, it switch to $58 each at check out.. WTF!! So I realized something was fishy, i logged out of wally again, deleted cookie, selected the items again without logging in to wally which show at $38 each, paid as a guest and BINGO! accomplished!
This goes to show that big box companies are now using algorithms to target people how much they should pay. You pay $38, you over here pays $58.... sneaky baastards!

I doubt they would move under moderate loads. I wouldn't stress them with maximum loads though based on how I literally watched them slip as I was struggling to put them together. I'd have no worries putting a maximum load on the ones I linked to on Amazon. You get what you pay for with these.

I'm no engineer, put these are not purely friction fit. The plastic pieces have an inner lip that is suppose to lock into grooves on the poles. The tubes on the ends of the shelf slide over the plastic pieces and press them tightly against the pole. The outward lateral pressure pressing the lip into the groove on the pole has a lot to do with the mechanism not sliding down vertically. The problem with this Walmart version is that lip is barely existent...compared to the Amazon one. Without that lip, you have smooth/slick plastic pressed against a smooth/slick post. With enough force the shelves can slip. I watched it happen as I assembled it. It shouldn't slip under moderate loads. I wouldn't max the shelves out though.
You get what you pay for with these "hyper tough". Lol.
