The W20 and the B30 are pretty close in price, any key diffrences and which one would be better for bass?
don't know if you still need this answer, but primary hardware difference is that B30 has 3 BA drivers whereas W20 has 2. I must say, if "good" base matters to you, Westone's products may not be the best bang for the buck. But, among the two B30 has more robust base compared to W20.
Sony's WF-1000XM3 earbuds are on sale for 158 on amazon. Why should I get these over those? How is the B50 better?
I believe Westone's audio products are like Apple's, in a sense that if you need to ask whether you should get it over the alternatives, the chances are you shouldn't buy them. WF-1000XM3 is an ANC TWS earbud whereas B50 is a wired IEM. The two devices don't target the same market.
If you are recording, or listening to music in your seat through 3.5mm port on your external DAC then B50 will deliver sound quality way beyond XM3 through all frequency ranges. If you mainly listen to music via bluetooth on your phone (especially iPhone with AAC codec) then buying the B50 makes no sense. XM3 is already an earbud that sounds good.
The rule of thumb I had to learn the hard way when purchasing audio gears is that if you are not sure why you should have it, then you shouldn't buy it. It won't deliver the value you are looking for and you will be left with an item that you don't need nor like devaluing each second.
With that being said, if you have a decent source device that supports 3.5mm jacks (LG phones, Qudelix or Fiio BTR5 with other Android phones, external sound card etc) you can go with B30 or B50 (recommend B30 because B50 really shines when you put more power through)
If you use an iphone as a primary source for your audio, go with airpods. They aren't great in terms of the sound but you get ANC and you won't notice much difference with better earbuds on apple music streamed AAC over bluetooth.
If you use android phones and want ANC, go with XM3. It has decent sound quality with amazing ANC.

Thank you, I'm still considering these and I appreciate the answer!
