Dexter is coming back, I heard. I think you will like the show. I was young when it aired though, but from what I remember it wasn't dissimilar from the shows you mentioned, genre-wise. Think I'm gonna give it another watch. Think it's on Hulu though so no way I'm buying it.
Great Show.... My wife and I recently discovered it and we binged it. Seasons 1-3 are the original show (2004-6)
Movie is 10 years later (2014)and season 4 is recent. (2019...last season??)
It was a fun watch. Worth a purchase if you don't have Hulu (the movie is a rental or HBO)

I've heard very mixed reviews about S4. A number of people hated the ending.
I did like the movie.
You should really watch the Good Place if you are a fan of hers. Great show.
S4 is actually really strong imo, but people are definitely going to be polarized by the ending and some will let it color their appreciation of the whole thing. I hated it AND thought it was great... For $20 bucks this is a must-watch if you like the genre.

...practically perfect! Imho, Enrico Colantoni deserves his own prop's though. Been a fan since. Just Shoot Me And I love the way he & Kristen Bell play off each other. Always makes me want to see the outtakes & blooper reels.
I was a little surprised by season 4. I thought they did a pretty good job of aging the personas from kids who had gone thru their particular dramas to the type of slightly damaged adults they might actually become. Liked the story went there instead of regurgitating more of the same old. And I thought the ending more credible than the way it looked like it was going to turn out for a minute.
I just loathed the way the story ended for these characters that we've been "invested in" for ever. Presumably there will be no more 'Mars series. It would have been nice to give them a "...happily ever after." But I guess it wouldn't really have rung true, would it?
