  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

The Target reward was almost instantaneous. Unsure about the referral because I'm not sure which referral triggered it. I think I know. Just not 100%.

I confirm for the 21$ referral to work, you have to send 10$ to a friend. I got the referral credit the moment I sent 11$ to a friend

LOL. Target just canceled my Ebay GC order. Done wasting time with this. It was a fun lunch time excitement. I think Target is more wary of e-GCs for fraud.

For this promo Google just looks at the final amount charged to your registered card -- after tax is fine

You're giving Google permission to monitor Visa/MC/Amex's backend system for all purchases you make on your registered card -- they'll just look for a $50 or more charge made directly at Target (online or in store) on your card

You can always buy a $50 Target eGC or other GCs they sell -- eBay/Home Depot/Lowes/Starbucks/etc: https://www.target.com/c/specialt.../-/N-5xsxs

I got a nintendo game and used store pick up and nothing triggered. Even though game got ready for pickup still nothing was there. But I need to buy new apple Airpods Max so I got a $50 apple GC to be emailed and I see activity instantly. Seems it works for gift cards better than anything else.

Thanks. I installed the app and added my preferred credit card.

I hate buying on my phone and went to Target.com on my laptop. Purchased a $52 Target gift card with the preferred credit card.

Ten minutes later I went to the Google Pay App and see the $21 and says available in 30 days.
