The deal can be triggered when purchasing a gift card.
Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.
Thanks. Google Pay seems to be stepping up their game.

I confirm for the 21$ referral to work, you have to send 10$ to a friend. I got the referral credit the moment I sent 11$ to a friend
Do u need to enter a debit card to send money? I saw there are fees to transfer from debit to Google pay, so does it mean it will charge fee when I pay $10 to a friend? Still a bit confused here...

Eventually this thread will get locked with all the referrals being posted... or at least temporary suspending postings for a few hours...

Took a dang while! Seems like it showed up only after I rebooted my phone.

Send $10 to someone by debit (instant) or bank account (few days) -- there's no fee

You can withdraw your account balance to bank account (no fee) or debit card (has fee)

You can do that, or you can link a bank account and thransfer money into and out of your google pay account for free. The bank transfer takes 1 to 5 business days. Hope this helps.

Also do check the Explore tab and click on the orange box with G written on it for mistry reward. Got $2.50 rewards cash.
Am I missing something? Under my explore table the only orange icon shows that I earned a $21 referral bonus earlier this week.

The Target reward was almost instantaneous. Unsure about the referral because I'm not sure which referral triggered it. I think I know. Just not 100%.
Do you know the person you referred that may have given you the referral bonus have a Android phone? It seems like you get referral bonus only if the person who is referred by sends $10 to someone else or make a payment using NFC on Android.

Target currently have 10% off on Subway gift cards and additional RED card 5% off. FYI
Using red card won't work. You need to charge to the card in gpay

Refer terms: min $10 transaction of sending money to someone OR contactless NFC purchase in store using GPay app (Android phones w/ NFC only)

If you made a Target purchase online then it won't combine

Make sure to "activate" twice. Didn't get the $21 the first time I purchased a $50 gift card. Still 21% cb on gift card isn't bad. Guessing you can't return an e-gift card
I'm not sure what you mean, how do I activate twice?

Yeah same here, I got in on both $21 rewards but never saw any extra thing in an orange box, I think maybe you have to do that the very first thing before you do referrals or target deal.

No it will not (unless its an NFC purchase in store and it may trigger both)
