i don't know about others but i tried this a while back and spent a bit of time on it with customer service only to be told the phone is not compatible. wish they would of just told me that at the beginning of the hour phone call.

Anyone have any issues getting refund lately if the plan is not loaded on the sim? In the past they refunded after a not as described claim was put in. Took some time though.

One of my lines is currently locked to AT&T and I am using it on tracfone with AT&T sim.

For Verizon phones I thought you can just put the IMEI into the Tracfone compatibility checker and if they accept it it should work?

Procedure makes no difference if sim is empty, a lot of these are not actually preloaded. Plenty of previous threads for this TF deal on SD (at different prices going back to May 2019). The last few I've bought have been a YMMV situation, some OK, some empty.

Does anyone know if this could be applied to a Samsung S2 Classic smartwatch that I use very sparsely? Right now I'm paying $10 a month for the watch on T-Mobile but I was wondering if this could work as the watch obviously doesn't have a sim slot?

Oh yeah. I spent a lot of time research this too. I have it pasted in a Word doc along with a bunch of other tips and experiences people shared in these forums. The steps just did not work for me. Maybe it was an empty SIM as others have mentioned, but they did get it resolved without sending me a new one. I know some folks have no problem with these & Verizon but I know some (including myself) do. FYI - I use an unlocked BYOP (Moto G5s Plus)
