If you bought 3x Xbox Live (XBL) Gold cards, make sure you do not enable recurring billing when redeeming each card because it will add a month each to your XBL service time. The system limits you to 36 months total.
For example, redeeming 2x XBL Gold cards /w recurring billing gives you 26 months. The system will not allow you to redeem the 3rd XBL Gold card.
YMMV, but a Microsoft (MS) rep was able to get around this limitation. Here are the steps he took:
- I converted my 26 month XBL Gold into 26 months of Gamers' Pass Unlimited (GPU).
- Since I already have GPU, it converts the 3rd 12 month XBL Gold card into 4 months of GPU, for a total of 30 months of GPU.
- The MS rep then manually adjusted my GPU subscription from 30 months to 36 months.

Lots of people have confirmed they can do it so long as the ultimate pass has expired. However, if you have already done the conversion in the past, it might not work on that account. You can always make a second account on the same xbox if you need to.

I am actually using it with my computer. You can play xbox live on any pc now.
