Costco has 24 month Xbox Gold for $94.99(at least price online but I'm assuming in store is the same as well), so you could couple that with 1 year from Newegg for a slightly better deal.

This may be an odd question. But if I convert my existing membership to ultimate, then do I no longer get to add the future free xbox live monthly games to my account? For example, after my up to three years of ultimate and I go back to gold, do I have access to any of those xbox live gold games that were offered during the same period?

I don't understand when the billing starts. It's telling me $1 for the first month and $14.99/month thereafter. I had 3yrs of Live Gold that it should have converted. So will I be charged $14.99 for my second month in January? Or will I be charged $14.99 after 37 months? If the former and I cancel the trial before the 2nd month, then will it back-convert my credits to Live Gold?

I broke down and paid full price for my 3 years of Gold last week (well, bought at Target, so go 5% off) but having made sure to have gotten in on the ultimate deal for $1 is worth it IMO. This deal just makes it a little bit better.

Any games you get "free" with Gold are yours, Ultimate includes Gold, so if you drop back down, those games you got in that time are still yours.

In 37 months it will charge you (if you currently have 3 years of Gold when you do the $1 trial).

Xbox ultimate = xbox live gold + xbox game pass + pc game pass. If u just want the keep the free games on gold,even when u dont have ultimate and u only have gold,u still have access to those games,but free games on gold are lackluster,most ppl get ultimate because it basically the same price as gold (with the conversion), and u have full access to huge collection of games on game pass,and now with ea pass included with xbox ultimate,the game pass collection just got bigger

What ever the amount of subtime u have as gold,when u convert (paying 1 dollar),its 1:1 conversion to ultimate,meaning,if u have 36 months of gold,pay 1 dollars,and u get 36 months of ultimate,thats why ppl try to stack up on gold before doing conversion

I ordered a 24 months and 12 months from Costco. They will send you a confirmation and then email your codes. They sent two emails for my order, one with my 24-month code and another email with my 12-month code. The emails with the codes arrived a little under an hour after placing my order.

I'm confused. This says it's Ultimate, but looking at the listing it's only got gold. Which means no game pass. Is the "ultimate" in the post for doing the trial conversion?

You have to buy 3 Year from NewEgg. Some people are trying to buy 2 years from Costco.
