You're capped at 2 rebates for the life of your acct. i grab some for random gifts lol
This isn't true. I used 2 rebates a year or two ago and got a 3rd gen Nest for $20ish and a free Honeywell that I put up for my tenants at a rental property.

I was just able to order TWO more of the new Nests. Came out to $40 after tax and shipping. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but at this price they would even make an excellent gift.

THANK YOU OP!

Note for others, this is for New Jersey.
MA has the same deal through mass save. Look at your local energy rebates and have a look.

2nd gen or third gen? If you have the second gen, then upgrading for 20 bucks seems like a no brainer.

It won't work. You need to have a NJ PSEG account and as others have said, it's two limit for the lifetime of the account.
It is not lifetime. I am in NJ and got (2) Eco-bee last year and I tried to get more earlier this year and said I was not eligible. I just tried with this deal (logged in to my account) and it let me proceed.

If ordering look at the other options as well. They have some power strips for $1, faucet adapters (nozzle part) for $0.50 and light bulbs, etc...

These PSE&G deals always sketch me out because of the Terms and conditions. Buying them means you agree to them collecting your data..

Customer receiving a rebate(s) from PSE&G authorizes the release of all data (inclusive of smart thermostat operation and program participation information) to PSE&G and any contractor or other vendor providing services or support to PSE&G under any of its regulated utility programs.

And gives them access to your home for the next 4 years..

PSE&G reserves the right to inspect all rebated products to verify compliance with PSE&GMarketplace Program terms and conditions. This may include post-installation inspections orparticipant interviews. Upon reasonable notice by PSE&G, the Customer must allow access to theinstalled product for a period of four (4) years after receipt of the rebate from PSE&G.

I don't know if they actually care that much to do the inspections but still, 4 years is a lot.

I got a different model, but turns out I don't have a c wire... I don't want to pay someone to run a new common wire, and I tried to figure it out myself, but just couldn't get it...
When I was installing my ecobee I ran into this problem. You don't need to run a new cable or have a wire running down your wall. There's a device called a common maker that you install on both ends of your current wires and it can effectively add a c-wire for you. I installed it myself, it wasn't difficult, but the device wasn't cheap ontop of the price of the ecobee. This rebate does help, though!

Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

Common Maker Thermostat Wire Extender (Adds a Common C Connection)

Is this a new version of the thermostat or throwing older inventories?
