You can play most all PS4 games on PS5. Some are being patched for next gen graphics updates. Most will just work due to PS5's backwards compatibility. There are a very small number of obscure titles from PS4 that are not BC with PS5. Your game library is not generation locked.

Does anyone know what happens if you already own the regular version digitally?

Would that save file carry over to this? I figure this complete version is cheaper than getting the DLC alone

For me, it continued with where I was in the standard version with addition of Frozen Wild ready to go.

Same. I bought the complete edition on ps4 this spring when it was $5~ I think? I was able to get my hands on a 3080 and would love to play it on there but don't want to pay $35 for it.

This is hands down my favorite PS4 title. It sat in my queue for over a year and I was blown away when I got around to it. Thumbs up even though I already own it.

I bought the original game for $40, sold it for $43 after beating it. And now I've bought this complete version for under $7.
