This is coming up as 299.99 after any android trade. About the coupon it says better coupon was applied for me. I have new A50, that I wanted to upgrade. And on best trade in scenario, it will still not be free

Isnt the verizon one at $30 more a better deal since it cones with a galaxy buds plus. That should be worth at least $30. Or is it because Tmobile is easily unlockable and vz is not? Thanks in advance
Unless you can get the Verizon version with the extra 100 dollar discount (doubt you can), then it's not 30 dollars more. It's about 130 dollars more. 200 vs 325. Basically choosing a slight discount on the buds+ or have a lower otd price. You can get the buds+ for way cheaper than 125 bucks, so it's not worth getting the Verizon version.

I have this phone. I like it. Except for the fact that it doesn't seem like you can turn off 5G.
I can shut off 5G.... Go to settings-->connections-->mobile networks-->network mode..... They give you various options to connect to.

I got this same phone from the previous deal and it's great. Easily a two-day phone in terms of battery. Midrange chips are the way to go if you don't do heavy gaming or editing on your phone. Pictures are nice with stock camera app. I leave 5G off because LTE speeds are the same around here. You can unlock it by messaging their Twitter page and telling them you got it from Samsung directly and provide them the IMEI.

A71 heavy user for about 4 months no, no complaints other than the fingerprint sensor in screen sucks, and 5g is misrepresented, but battery screen quality and reliability has been exceptional
When I had a tempered screen protector on, I thought the fingerprint sensor was inconsistent. When I removed the screen protector, it worked so much better.... After you remove the screen protector, redo your fingerprint and do various angles. The fingerprint sensor always works. It isn't as fast and responsive as my pixel 3a or moto g power/stylus physical rear fingerprint sensor button but it works.

What do you need the 865 for that the 765 can't do? The 765 is super fast and very snappy. Lot of heavy demanding gaming? Worth the extra $400?

The difference between flagship and the "good midrange" phones are so small nowadays. The big PRO is that one could get amazing budget phone deals with solid midrange phones like the samsung galaxy a71 5G, pixel 4a, pixel 4a 5G, iphone se 2020 and moto g stylus... I could even throw in the OnePlus 7T at $300. Never pay retail. No more +$300 phone purchases needed.

How do you turn off 5G? I keep going to mobile network and then network mode and there's no option to turn 5G off? Under network mode there are two options. Manula and Automatic. And neither option allow to switch off 5G.

Anyone with a recent (S9 or newer) Samsung flagship thinking about getting this, get the OnePlus 8T instead. much better phone and also free with your trade-in (or add a line) at T-Mobile currently. I wouldn't trade my S9+ for this phone but I just did it for the OnePlus, waiting for it to arrive.
