I have purchased a few of these @ $15 over the last few months and think it's better quality than the stuff at Costco. The last two bags from Costco I purchased were full of worms that turned into moths.

I went to buy another bag of this stuff yesterday and found they had been discounted from $15 to $5. Not sure if it's a regional thing but this was zip code 30144.

Make sure you place in a storage bin over the winter, mice can easily break through these bags. The last thing you need is a pest problem heading into the new year.
As a former wild bird store owner, this seed is not very good. You should avoid seed mixes that contain milo. Birds do not eat milo.
Squirrels are brilliant. I had a farmhouse bird feeder for 3yrs. The same group of squirrels figured out how to get to the feeder this year. They hang upside down from the wire and shove their noses into a slot about the size of a dime. Slowly knocking extra seeds onto the ground. They used to wait underneath for birds to drop seeds.

I spent $20 and bought a metal Oscar the Grouch trashcan with tight lid. Problem solved!

Good idea. My parents used to store their seed in plastic containers but the squirrels absolutely destroyed them.

I learned my lesson a couple of years ago when i found the seed every, string mixed into the seeds, and two dead mice.

146 at closest store.
Probably too much millet, but $5 is pretty cheap.

I'm ALWAYS in a battle with the frakking squirrels and mice, a price I'm willing to pay for living in the peace and isolation of the country.
