Okay I see all the negative comments, and people making fun of these. Let me assure you...these are a life saver when you are lacking space, and are limited on space options. I have 3 boys, and for a while, they all had to share the same room. This bunk bed was a game changer, and saved so much space. They each had their own area within their bunk. Sure, the "sit up in bed" space fir the middle bunk wasn't all that outstanding, but surprisingly, the bottom was. The top bunk IS a rather tight fit, but the pro is the added privacy the occupant gets up there. I added curtains for each level, so they all had privacy, and mounted tiny TVs at the end I of their beds, creating an "own room" feel. The beds all separate, and eventually I purchased a loft, and spread the remaining two underneath. All in all, I would recommend this purchase to anyone needing an option to utilize small space. It worked for us, and my boys never complained. They were 13, 14, and 7. The 7 yr old was on the middle, the 14 yr old took the top, and 13 resided on the bottom. Ours was metal, and did not make all that much noise, as long as you maintain everything tightened and securely screwed. My only complaint is I wish the ladder was a slanted type instead of the straight vertical. It makes it hard to go up and down. Setting a small step stool on the bottom helps.
Hope this adds a little insight and helpful visual to anyone thinking practical ways of saving space when you don't have any. Not to mention...this price is UNHEARD of.
Great post! And thank you for sharing it!
Good luck everyone!
For when your kids bedroom is missing that "correctional facility" feel
Hopefully someone at a homeless organization sees this deal. The ones around me overpay significantly for furniture.

Or just need a nightly whiff of asbestos in the popcorn ceiling.
