Yes, both the clip+ and clip zip had micro SD and an OLED display (though blue/yellow monochrome in the case of the plus). While officially supporting only up to 32GB, they take 512GB no problem if you format the card as FAT32 and use Rockbox.

As pointed out by another user, the Sport does NOT support Rockbox, as it has a very limited microcontroller.
Wow a blast from the past....mid 2000s ish?
I think it was the same price 10 years ago.

I've read the newer models have major QC issues, but this is the older model. No BT on this one though. Old tech, but it still works, these are great for running, but I have put 2 accidentally thru the washer because they are so damn small.

Not the inexpensive clip models.

These are great devices.

I have one of the original Sansa Clips. It is great. However, I also got one of these knock-offs which is only $25. It is essentially the same, but it has bluetooth, which is a huge upgrade, especially for working out. Pair it with a cheap pair of bluetooth ear buds and you are working out wirelessly on the cheap. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3QP...7FbKRPNSQH

I didn't realize these still existed. Suspect B&H found a crate in the back of their warehouse labeled "TOP SECRET ARMY INTEL 9906753 DO NOT OPEN!" and is putting on a sale.

No way to use a streaming music service on these, like Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, etc.? If not, what use is this? WTF still buys individual songs?

This is for your own encodes or downloads. Not buying songs, but ripping your own CD collection
