For the apparel stuff, if not sold and shipped by walmart, it charges shipping per item even if over $35?
A few examples below. Please understand that these will sell out FAST. Store P/U depends on your store' available inventory.

Never been a fan of the idea to 'buy clearance Christmas stuff' for next year.
You have to store it somewhere in the home, taking up space, and become a Care Taker for the stuff for 11 long months.
Often, you go to take the stuff out next year and the wrapping paper and other items have shivered up or gathered dust, and or got crushed.
I neither see nor understand your logic.
Spend $30 now so you don't have to spend $125 next winter. Sounds pretty good. If you have zero space, that's one thing, but I imagine most people have room alongside their Xmas stuff or are replacing old decorations so it's a swap.
If you store it properly, it doesn't get crushed. If you store it in containers or bags, it doesn't collect dust. Christmas clearance is awesome when it's in abundance. Next December will be here before we know it.
Would LOVE to find the Holiday Time Carson Pine Pre-lit Tree (box T-52)!!
We saw it at a thrift store and my daughter asked if we could get it but at the time I did not have the funds to purchase it. When I did get enough, we walked back and as we were walking to the basement to purchase it, someone else was buying it.😢. I felt terrible. I then found it at Walmart, but it was $169.
Don't even bother since most B&M stores' Xmas clearance stuff is completely gone. They're putting out Valentine's stuff already.
Stores near me were practically wiped out a day or two after. However, I just got back from a Walmart that was putting a few things out. They said they just got them in. I know I saw someone else day Target stores near them said their Christmas shipments for delayed until after Christmas. So they might be something to it. Probably a huge YMMV situation, though, especially depending on what the store decides to do with the new shipments after they've already marked it all down, and especially if they're already starting to stock other stuff. But most Walmarts keep the main section (next to the Garden Center usually) open or stocked with storage containers until gardening time comes in the Spring.

I've always purchased all my Christmas stuff after Christmas. Usually waiting until 90% to get wrapping paper, gift bags, etc. I've never had issues, even when I had a time where I stored it all in an outside shed. And things like lights and trees, especially if you're just replacing old one, are easy to store if you have the space. I never pay full price for Christmas stuff. It just doesn't make sense. If you're someone that just throws everything out each year and want to pay full price at the beginning of the season, then more power to you. But it's a total waste and I would wonder why you would even be on Slickdeals Although, I get if you have a small space and nowhere to store it and paying for a storage unit for it would be more costly. I was grateful when we lived in apartments our first few years of marriage and was able to store stuff at our parents' house. But we didn't have much and could probably fit it all in a couple of boxes (especially since we used a small tabletop tree).

This is where you would scan the items, since most are discounted already in their system but might not have been 'labeled' yet 🙂

It all depends on the store' size🙂
