Other than the 5G capability, the 7T is better in every single way.
The Nord N5G and N100 are the US variants of the Nord series. US version gets a lesser chipset with the original Nords getting 765G compared to these which have SnapDragon 690G

When I clicked the link, they offered another 10% off for subscribing to their email. So potentially $270ish for the phone and buds.

I wish I knew for sure it'd work on either Cricket or Mint's network!? I can't tell from their pop-up at their site for certainty.

It's unlocked and both Cricket and Mint both use GSM networks so it will 100% work. If you have coverage from AT&T or T-mobile is another story. BTW Red Pocket is cheaper than Cricket and comes with more data. I pay ~$22/month for AT&T service with 5gb LTE data. Mint cannot be beat if you have good T-mobile coverage by you.

I think he was saying Cricket is AT&T, Mint is T-Mobile network, if you have spotty coverage from those providers this phone and those plans will not work for you.

Presuming it's the same as the international models, these don't have Band 71 for T-Mobile.

OnePlus has also announced they won't be getting anything later than Android 11, and only 2 years for security updates.

The product page specifically shows this DOES have band 71 for T-Mobile.

Actually, if they don't support volte on your carrier, calling support gets a little wonky these days. It's not as simple as it used to be, "unlocked" doesn't guarantee compatibility as much as it used to as carriers are repurposing spectrum for lte and 5g, and taking away more 3G bandwidth every day. Where I live, lte is much stronger than 3G, and without volte all calls rely on 3G and get dropped or sometimes don't ring at all.

FYI, the Oneplus 5 still beats this phone. However, this was the last year the 5 will receive updates. I hate this planned obsolescence nonsense.
