Got this for $30 and liked it. Keep in mind this does not have a true white color; there is a tint of green/blue, so it's not as bright.

Got this for $30 and liked it. Keep in mind this does not have a true white color; there is a tint of green/blue, so it's not as bright.

You cut them to length.

It's about 4 inches per segment (usually 3 lights per segment) and each segment is marked with a cut line.

8mm isn't a standard width for LED strips.

You're probably looking at 12mm (nearly 1/2in) with these.

This looks like a good deal, I don't have any need for 32 feet, but have a bunch of 16 ft installed. Yes their whites are not super bright and can gave occasionally have wifi issues. But once you automate, it works like a charm. I like them.

These are not good for lighting an area, they are more decorative/novelty lights. I put them over a work table and am pretty disappointed with the lack of illumination they provide. Not very bright and not true white.
