Not really... I heard reviews talking about the screen time and it was disappointing. A battery doesn't have huge degrade after only a year. The quad HD, powerful processor, small battery and 120hz hurts battery life.
15-20% degradation in one year. That's worse than a new S20, if coming from the S10.

"remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days." - Is that the plan remain active or the phone remain active? Is it true the Fi App tracks your usage?
You need leave Fi SIM in the phone you purchased for 90 Days to meet the promotion requirements. But I saw someone said you can take SIM out after you active the phone, while still keep the service active for the 90 days. I dare anyone will try this for risking being charged $600 at a later day.

Had Fi a couple of years ago. This is a good deal.
Anyone know if I would need to get Fi service first and then order the S20 to get the discount since it only shows full price right now?

Are you looking in the right place? For me it shows the discounted price even without logging in.

I guess because it is not a new or existing account?

Is there a reason you shouldn't create a new google account?

I have a spare account that I never used on Fi but then I believe since that would make me a new user I would need to port in a line.

You just made more reason to go for the phones with the huge battery. From the same article, "In fact, if you wait till your battery is down to around 25% before plugging it in, you might have closer to 2,000 to 2,500 charging cycles before your battery is permanently damaged from the harsh effects a full-discharge has on a battery.".

Yeah, no. Swappa will be ~$610 after taxes and fees. Also, the ones on Swappa are either pink or don't come with the charger, so you have to account for that too.

This deal is about ~$510. Both numbers depend on tax rate of course. Swappa you pay $100 more, open box, and your phone is either pink or missing the charger.

This year, you mean? It's 2021 already. For buying an S21, Samsung is offering $700 trade-in credit for trading in an S20.
Question will be is it actually a better phone ?
