Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

I placed the order on Sunday 10Jan21 around 4PM EST and ETA for delivery was put as 22-25 January.
Around 5PM EST today, my 2 phones are shipped and a tracking number FedEx has been generated.
The label says it is originating in Carol Stream, IL and it looks like a 2 day Shipping and it is expected to be delivered on Thursday 14Jan21.

Similarly, I placed my order on Saturday and it originally said the phone would be here on the 24-27th. Around noon yesterday I got a notification and tracking saying it would be here on the 14-15th. Though it just says label created and nothing has shipped yet. It's still in the same place (carol stream, IL)

Did you do it as "add new persons" to an existing google fi customer or just new persons as a new google fi customer? As a "existing customer" in the promo details, it states January 5th 2020. I question it because I don't know if it is a typo and they meant January 5th 2021 or they really mean that date.

It could be a costly $600 mistake for me since I haven't been a google fi customer that long 1 year period. I have google fi credit. I wonder if that January 5th 2020 will be a "requirement step" in the promo check list.

Adding new person to an existing account accounts are defined as new FI customer according to T&C and requires you to port in number and does not require the Jan 5th 2020 date. Thats why chose to do that way.

Cool. I was thinking of either just "New" or "Existing".... I would do new member of a group and then should be able to use my google fi credits. I'm considering this deal as I have lot of google fi credit.

So I don't have an existing number to qualify for this deal right now. Does anyone foresee an issue with signing up for AT&T Prepaid for a couple of weeks just to get a number and then port over?
