For those that are planning to pull the sim and use another sim for the 90 days, how are you going to deal with the Fi app?

Surely the app will know if you pull the sim?

I'm in the exact same boat. I have an S10 and ordered this, because if the S21 doesn't have an SD slot it doesn't get my business. Did you notice less battery life on the S20 though, compared to the S10?
I've read only s21 ultra will have a SD slot. The other 2 won't. I would of thought the s21 series would of been better since it's 2021 and them naming it s21, skipping from s10.

For anyone who doesn't want to port their own number to Google Fi, I used Numberbarn to pick my number and port to Google Fi (total was $7). It was super quick and easy. Porting only took 30 minutes for me.

Also, for $20 off your second billing from Google Fi, PM me and I'll send you a code.

Yes, but I don't want an ultra. We'll know in 2 days for sure.

Mine just arrived, I'm keeping it in the box until the S21 reveal on Thursday. Then I'll decide what to do. We get 14 days to return it.

Can you not return it any more once it's activated? That's why you have to keep it in the box?

I just assume it's easier, I hear Fi CS suck. I think it's returnable either way, though - but it also appears that Fi makes up its own rules that aren't in the terms (i.e. can't use the SIM in another phone, that's nowhere in the terms). Also want to see what the trade-in is for S21's final price, etc. I can wait 48 hours.

The website on numberbarn says it would take 3-7 days to port a number. That's reassuring that it happened so quickly.

There is no way to check, it does show during the last checkout page though.

However once you activate, you will receive a confirmation email about the referral.

Yeah, it started working within 30 minutes for me. Some might take longer, but it was quick and painless for me..

I'm a first time customer to Numberbarn.

Do you just take the account no. and PIN from numberbarn? and what next? to put those into the S20 when you activate it? I've also never done this before.

Yes, Numberbarn provides you the account number and PIN. You can add it to your Google FI's account online. OR, when you get the phone and download the Google FI app, you can enter it in the app that way.

You have to download the Google FI app for it to start the FI service no matter what.

Sorry if this has already been asked, I read everything up until I bought the phone a couple of days ago and it just arrived. Is the offer still valid if Google Fi is on esim and I put in my SIM for my other number?

Also, has anyone had issues porting out of Visible?
