Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

It's unlocked, but you need to stay in fi for 90 days to get your $600 discount

I actually want to have a Fi line that's separate from my 'main' line for international travel. Can I still suspend Fi service for 3 month at a time without having to pay for it? Thinking I can jump on this deal, meet the terms, suspend the service and keep activating it as needed.
I would say yes as I believe once you cover the 90 day service requirements, this would be just like any other Fi account. The 90 day requirement is there just to fulfill the price discount

Anyone looking for a port out number "I'm not the seller

Seller sends the information almost immediately, Port out took less then 5 minutes & the number was working.
We really have some losers on this site. What type of person downvotes a comment from someone actually helping the community?

Why don't you 🤡'S provide anything useful instead of hiding in the shadows.

Cheapest & fastest port out I done so far. Spent under $6 number was working 5 minutes after porting to FI.

If me using another SIM in the Fi phone breaks the promo, then that's $600 on me, that I can hopefully help others save. And so far, the promo discount is still good for me. And as of now, I have 78 days left.
Good for you I am chicken little so I stick with the Fi service I just forward my original service (Mint) to Fi and use Message on WEb for sms... so I don't think it's a huge inconvenience for me and seems I don;t have much people calling me using the "number" (most friend and family use chat app: whatsapp, messenger etc)

Checking in again and nothing to report.

I got the S20. Activated and ported in a burner pre paid number. The day I received the phone, I downloaded the fi app and activated and ported in and waited for all the system updates to complete and did a factory reset and removed the fi sim and used my primary sim.

I just got charged $26.xx for the first months service. No break in promo.

My fi sim has been removed and placed into the S20 box since I removed it.
I have 73 days left on my promo.

I went there, it still shows activate your fi and transfer a number. (even though I have done it already, but it still shows in the steps) so how long before that change. 1 day?

For me it didn't update until the next day. For others it was quicker.

Update:

My first bill closed and it's $26.69.

I removed the fi sim since day one and the fi sim has been in the s20 box since. And I have not broken the $600 promo.

If my next bill doesn't break the promo, then I think the consensus is correct; you can use the phone with any carrier as long as the fi sim continues to have a plan for the promo period and not used with any other phone.

Thanks for keeping us updated. It will be good to finally answer this question definitively.

Is the price breakdown with no mobile data usage? $20 for the voice plan and the $6.69 in taxes?
